Tradi is not yet open for bookings. This page describes the pricing that applies from the day it is, and is published now so that it can be reviewed. Nothing on this site takes payment today.

Nothing to Tradi. The price a tradesperson quotes is the price you pay. Tradi does not add a booking fee, a service fee or a card surcharge on top of it.

When you book, you pay a deposit or call-out fee towards the job. The balance is due when the work is finished and you confirm it is done. Both payments are made through Tradi.

All amounts on Tradi are in South African Rand (ZAR). You can cancel free of charge at least 24 hours before the booked start time - see the cancellation and refund policy for what happens after that.

Creating a profile and listing your trade is free. There is no subscription, no joining fee and no charge per lead or per quote.

Tradi charges a 12% commission on the total value of each completed job. It is deducted automatically before the balance is paid out, so there is nothing to invoice and nothing to pay separately.

• No commission on a job that is cancelled before it starts.
• No commission on a quote that is not accepted.
• No charge for declining work, or for being unavailable.

Payments are processed by PayFast, a registered South African payment service provider. Tradi does not see or store your card details.

When a job is completed and confirmed, Tradi deducts its 12% commission and settles the balance to the tradesperson’s nominated bank account. Holding the payment between booking and completion is what lets us refund a customer whose job did not happen, and pay a tradesperson promptly for one that did.

If our commission or fees change, we will publish the new figures on this page and give tradespeople notice before the change takes effect. A change never applies to a job that is already booked.
